Educational purpose
The information on this website is educational. It cannot replace a personal medical evaluation and must not be used to diagnose or treat any condition.
Every procedure has risks
All surgical procedures carry risks, including bleeding, infection, scarring, reactions to anesthesia, blood clots, asymmetry, dissatisfaction with the result and the possible need for additional surgery. Your surgeon will explain the specific risks of your procedure during your consultation.
Results vary
Photos, testimonials and timelines show examples. They are not a promise. Your result depends on your anatomy, age, health, lifestyle, healing and following the instructions given before and after surgery.
Candidacy is decided in person
Whether you are a good candidate for a procedure is determined by Dr. Velasco Marín after reviewing your medical history, examining you and discussing your goals. Some patients may be advised to postpone or choose a different procedure, or may not be candidates.
Traveling for surgery
If you travel to Cancún for surgery, plan enough time before and after the procedure. Ask your surgeon when it is safe to fly or take long trips after surgery, and arrange follow-up care in your home country in case you need it.
Emergencies
This website and our messaging channels are not for emergencies. In Mexico dial 911. If you are recovering and have severe pain, fever, difficulty breathing, chest pain or heavy bleeding, go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
